Besides oil, Venezuela has plenty of excellent agricultural land, vast well watered plains, that used to raise huge numbers of cattle. However it’s been several decades since the country became a great food importer. They live mainly on imported food now.

I don’t know that the “people” world deserves much these days.
It’s almost as IF a compromise of killing only Democrat babies might be a interim step in the right direction.
Where’s Sean Penn and Danny Glover and all those other socialist sacks of crap? They’re the ones who should give ALL their money to help these poor children, since they are partly responsible, by supporting the leftist scum that ruined Venezuela, for this human tragedy!

This situation is appalling - where is the UN? (useless nothings). Where is the lazy Bill Clinton and his charitable foundation? There is so much edible food thrown out by US grocery chains, surely it could be shipped safely and distributed to these little children by the Red Cross.
So many international ‘charities’ and no solutions - Jesus is weeping while we wring our hands in despair.
The only thing that will prop up a socialist government at this point is extensive aid from outside sources. Outside capitalist sources. Us. The Euro-socialists only care for the Venezuelan children to the degree that they can be used to prop up the Maduro government. And, naturally, from here on out anything bad that happens to the children will be our fault.
If that were to happen, the food would be distributed and controlled by the military, just like Cuba and NK...
Oh for a Venezuelan Pinochet. The current regime needs to go the way of Salvador Allende.
Meanwhile, “poor” people in the US are morbidly obese.
What I’m curious about is why food aid doesn’t currently appear to be forthcoming, given the likely desire of the current administration and the UN to keep Maduro in power.
You see the Clinton Foundation rushing down there with aid? No money in it...

The liberal environmentalist mission has been accomplished, since they see people as a blight on the earth. Conservatives are decent people who see all people as created in God’s image and valuable until they prove otherwise through their own actions. These poor socialist children were innocent, which is why liberals are okay with their deaths.
Look for the Clintons to go down their for a photo op, raise billions from donations and US tax dollars, pocket most of it, give a large part to their cronies, and feed a dozen or so children once while infecting them with Cholera. That’s what they accomplished in Haiti with their “charity” work.
At least the disaster in Haiti was natural unlike the one in Venezuela which was caused by letting people with the same ideology as Obama and Clinton be in charge.
