Is there a term for attacks on one’s opponent that actually help the opponent?
“Is there a term for attacks on ones opponent that actually help the opponent?”
Sure. It’s called an ad hominem Alinsky attack. She did the same thing after Benghazi and she does it every time something like this happens.
Trump wants to boot mozlim serpents like Ahmad Rahami and all the others who have no business being here because—thanks to Obama and Clinton—they see us as weak, they hate us and want us dead. She wants to bring in more.
So she flips the facts and accuses him of doing what she is doing and claims she will do what he has promised to do.
But once the dust settles from this most recent incident she will go back to calling him and those of us who would rather not be knifed or blown up by hateful mozlims, who should never have been allowed into the country, then we go back to being called racist xenophobes.

“Stupidity” immediately comes to mind, but closely following are “self-destructiveness”, “incompetence”, “tone-deafness”, “cluelessness”, et. al.
Yes, LOSER.
Own goal?
Stupidity?
Clintonesque?
