President Obama’s motorcade passed through 23rd Street, the location of Saturday night’s bombing, and slept in Manhattan Sunday night — but he still hasn’t made any public remarks on the attack in Chelsea.
Instead, Obama’s first stop in New York City Sunday night was at the Gramercy Park home of restaurateur Danny Meyer and actress Audrey Meyer to attend a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Obama talked about the importance of this election — “the most important election of our lifetime” — and discussed why he believes Clinton is failing to run away with it.
“[T]his should not be a close election, but it will be,” Obama claimed. “And the reason it will be is not because of Hillary’s flaws, but rather because, structurally, we’ve become a very polarized society. And if all you’re doing is watching Fox News and listening to Rush Limbaugh and reading some of the blogs that are churning out a lot of misinformation on a regular basis, then it’s very hard for you to think that you’re going to vote for somebody who you’ve been told is taking the country in the wrong direction. And so, structurally, we already have these divisions and it’s going to be hard to overcome those.”

Ha! Is there some other Fox news channel I’m not aware of? The one I have on my cable system is all Trump bashing all the time, except for Hannity. Ditto Fox Business, substituting in Lou Dobbs.

1. So, per Obama, Fox News is not a legitimate news organization.
2. Rush Limbaugh is not a legitimate commentator.
3. It should not be a close election, because if people truly saw how wonderful liberalism is, and Hillary being the one to inherit his legacy, it would be a landslide election.
4. Bloggers and commentators who are not liberal, are leading people to believe that liberalism takes our country in the wrong direction. But they are wrong to do so, per Obama.
5. It apparently should be obvious to all enlightened persons such as himself, that listening to Rush or getting info from the “wrong” blogs, will give you false information about which candidate is preferable.
6. The structural divisions in the country pit the “enlightened” liberals against “ignorant” others.

Remember, he was joking about ISIS beinga JV team, and not really anything important just HOURS before the blast.
The last thing he wants to talk about is that bombing, because the next question will logically be: “what was he doing?”
Remember the lambasting that W got for reading to children on 9/11? Already at a school, reading a book, and the attack happened. Because he didn’t immediately jump up and rush out (rather, waited for the Secret Service to tell him it was OK to leave), he was attacked mercilessly for an “uncaring” and “paralyzed” response.
President Obama is deathly afraid of having the same thing happen, perhaps even worse as he was MOCKING that JV team who just attempted to murder another 30 US citizens. On US soil.
Of course not. obama will never rat on his friends...
Yup, close your eyes and Fox sounds just like CNN.
I'd guess most of Trump's supporters don't watch Fox or listen to Rush.
No doubt about it. And that should make Hillary and her media supporters very nervous.
Well, he CAN’T condemn his friends.
