That wasn’t the question he asked. He asked how to remove the mailbox recipient/sender information from message files in an Exchange system. That’s a bit more complicated, esp. if you don’t want to leave a forensic trace.
Based on this email, it seems they were trying to obfuscate Hillary’s address to make it impossible to determine if Hillary herself sent/received the emails. Instead, they chose to wipe the server to make it impossible to recover the data.
Problem with all of this is that the Russians and Chinese had the data long before any scrubbing was done.

They were foolish if they thought “wiping the server” was really a solution.
But, if I wanted to go down that road, I would remove the HDD, smash it a few times with a hammer, stick it in a bag of bad garbage, drive 30 miles to a random 7-11, and throw the bag in a dumpster.
It would never be found and/or examined closely.
Not a real solution, since the Russians, the Chinese and the NSA would have copies, but still seems better than “wiping it with a cloth”.

It sounds like the guy was only interested in masking HRC's email address in the email sender and/or recipient fields in the MIME headers.
This proves he is autistic and has a loosely connected brain stem....
This fits perfectly with Career Criminal Clinton’s frame of mind - her greedy sense was to try to hide it so she could keep it (her archives). Only once it was determined that they wouldn’t be able to secret the data did they choose to destroy it.
As I've always said: The Russians read Clinton's emails before she did.
He could try asking Russia, but I don't think the Russians will take him. What's he got to offer them? Thanks to his leaky server, they already have everything they want.
Maybe he could go knock on the door of the Ecuadorean Embassy.

Well he sure can’t have immunity from congress along with the right to plead the 5th amendment.
I don’t think the guy asking the question was a Tech Guy, I think he was a “pointy-haired” Management type of tech guys, knows just enough and dresses well enough to get a fancy title. I heard his title somewhere but its not worth the effort to dig that back up.
It would make perfect sense for him to not want to share the nature of the “issue” for which he sought help with any Techie that worked there, fewer the better in awareness of the wash of the corrupt activities.
