Priebus has no choice in this matter. The RNC will be out of business if it lets Republicans run around consorting with Democrats during a monumental election campaign.

I'm sure the RNC is already dealing with contributions drying up, as more and more people who are willing to contribute to individual campaigns have no interest in the party establishment anymore.

While I tend to agree with you that not doing so would have negatively impact the GOP, he did have a choice and he made the correct one. So for that I will give him the recognition he deserves.

I fully expect Kasich to switch to the Democrat Party in the near future anyway, as it is obvious to me that he is more of a Democrat than he is a Republican. His only real selling point as a Republican was economic based, on social issues he has always been a squishy liberal. Now that he no longer even touts the economic conservative meme, there is no reason for him to remain a Republican.

Took them years, but they finally stopped calling me asking for donations. I can pick my own candidates, thank you very much. They wasted my money, then did what they wanted in DC. Why support them?
