Am I the only one worried about what BO may pull when Trump wins? Are we still capable of a peaceful transfer of power?
it all depends on who is on the trigger end of the fire arm in question.
If we’re in the middle of a shooting war with Russia, and O declares a state of emergency, it’ll look a lot like what happened when they integrated the schools in Little Rock in ‘57, or in Birmingham in ‘63(?). Should anyone happen to accidentally off the President Elect at that time, it’ll look like hell on earth, or like Rome when the big oaf starts fighting with the bloke who cheated him at dice right when Marc Anthony is entering the forum.
I"ve been thinking about this for years. Seems to me, when the party in power LOSES the election, they should be actually lame duck. Like, no power to pass new legislation. Or, just install the newly elected in two weeks instead of two months. Would require an update to the Constitution.

Time will tell. Obama said some very cryptic words earlier this year when he said that “Trump will not be the next President”. Most wrote it off as a prediction...but the current president has the power to at least try to force that outcome, if necessary.
We shall see.
