As we speak, the FBI, White House and Clinton campaign are all furiously trying to create a narrative to downplay the islam/refugee reality and draft statements about how this has nothing to do with religion, disaffected youths upset with the lack of jobs and discrimination they face from the “basket of deplorables”, and how they are going to focus on preventing retaliation against muslims. They can’t use the lone wolf or mental illness deflection this time but they will spin this.

The only positive thing is that this group appears to have been too inept to inflict the amount of carnage that was possible. Multiple bombs in multiple high traffic areas. This could have turned out much worse if it wasn’t for the bomber’s ineptness. A more highly trained group and we’d be counting the fatalities in the hundreds.
