Donald Trump is a MASTER of using social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter) to get around the Left-leaning MSM. And he very well knows that the social media companies--even with their corporate heads being politically Left--would NOT dare to censor Trump's official account on social media out because the last thing those companies want is being accused of censorship of a major political figure.
Look at just how much more popular Trump is on social media--he has 25 to 50 percent more followers than Hillary Clinton, who seems to not know how to properly use social media because of her 1990's election mindset.

Whenever there is a breaking news story, more and more people are finding out about it via YouTube and there are many budding alternative news agencies to be found there aggregating news much like Matt Drudge. Aggregating salient information is now the name of the game, from reviews on products to gathering opinions on a topic from all around the World.
