Donald Trump’s Anything-Goes Campaign Sets an Alarming Political Precedent (Call the Waambulance!)
New York Slimes ^ | Sept. 17, 2016 | Jonathan Martin

WASHINGTON — When Donald J. Trump descended on the capital Friday, he was expected to finally concede that the racially tinged falsehood he had gleefully propagated, that President Obama was born outside of the United States, had in fact been a lie.

But before Mr. Trump got around to what was a grudging and terse admission, which itself included a falsehood about the provenance of so-called birtherism, he had some business to tend to.

“Nice hotel,” said Mr. Trump, the Republican nominee for president, delighting in his newest property and the opportunity to plug it free on live television. He was holding his news conference at his new hotel in the Old Post Office building on Pennsylvania Avenue, which, he promised, is “going to be something very special.”

He seemed untroubled in using an ostensible campaign event just a few blocks from the White House to openly promote his personal commercial interests 52 days before the election.

In fact, this past week offered a vivid illustration of how little regard Mr. Trump has for the long-held expectations of America’s leaders. He is not only breaking the country’s political norms, he and his campaign aides are now all but mocking them.

Notably, in a CBS News Battleground Tracker poll of likely voters in swing states released Sunday, 23 percent of Trump supporters said the GOP nominee should follow his instincts on foreign policy, rather than listening to advisors. Only 12 percent of Clinton supporters said the same.

The Kenyanesian Usurpation was brought to you by BOTH parties.

The Constitution says natural born citizen.
That means one who is naturally an American because they couldn’t be anything else, born here of citizen parents.
Everyone in DC wanted that changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
The Senate passed a resolution declaring McCain a natural born citizen because he had TWO citizen parents, even though he was born in Panama.
Then Obama runs and wins based on just being born here, even though he told us on his website he was born a British subject.
So the standard went from born here of citizen parents to just TWO citizen parents to just being born here in one election cycle without amending the Constitution.
This was done intentionally because Rubio (no citizen parents), Cruz (foreign birth, one citizen parent), Jindal (no citizen parents), and Haley (no citizen parents) were all ineligible and the future of the GOP.

The truth of the Kenyanesian Usurpation will never see the light of day because they all cooperated in the violation of the Constitution.

But open borders,no rule of law, constant lying - those are great precedents?

“Birtherism” is the greatest Alinsky ever perpetrated.

They have gotten the American people to reject one of the most valuable safeguards bequeathed to us by the founders.
The natural born citizen clause served us well until we ignored it.
Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama should be proof enough of the wisdom of the founders when they tried to prevent him from being President by requiring someone who could only be a US citizen and nothing else.
Born here of citizen parents.
Naturally a US citizen because there is no other possibility.
One cannot be anything else and also be a natural born citizen.

Obama even told us on his website he was born a British subject.

Who believes Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Jay, Monroe, Madison, etc. would have found him to be a natural born citizen?

So butt-hurt. They should just let it go, but the MSM doesn’t like getting beat at their own game. So it’s going to be tirade after tirade from now until November, which will help Trump because normal voters hold them in such low regard.

Hmmmm. Hasn’t anyone told these guys that this is the whole point? The whole stinking system is in need of a good mocking, just before dismantling it?

The allegations of Barry being foreign born were started in 2008 by Clinton surrogates... that much is documented fact... the press seems hung up on the fact that no document linking Clinton personally to it is her out as not being the start of it.. and its laughable...

Blumenthal was pitching it to news people... Don’t think for one minute that’s now how it got started.

An alarming precedent to have a candidate who isn’t part of the DC circus, and who doesn’t employ all of the do-nothing political experts during election season. That is Trump’s biggest crime: not wasting a billion dollars in political donations.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

They would have had Obama working in their cotton and tobacco fields, where he might have been qualified.

Well of course, even Shrillary supporters are not stupid enough to think she should rely upon her own judgment!!!! The only hope with her would be if she is a puppet to her advisers, and even then a Shrillary presidency would be a dismal thing for sure.....

As is obvious, the NYTimes is not only increasingly breaking journalistic norms but openly mocking them. There is a very blatant use of falsehoods and innuendos instead of facts. - Not “all the news that’s fit to print” but all the news that fits the NYTimes’ agenda, even when they have to make it up.

A third grade level class newspaper could do better than this.

My gosh this is embarrassing.
