I agree with the author that the leftist philosophy and their leaders are bankrupt.

However, leftism is not "imploding." It is expanding, and conquering.

"Leftism" is just another term for secular godless rebellion against the one true God.

Things are getting worse and worse. The Bible says that "...evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived." (2 Timothy 3:13)

The left is supported and empowered by Satan. Just as during the Tribulation, the whole world will "wonder after the Beast", so today we have vast stretches of humanity who are completely and utterly deceived. Their hearts are black, and their consciousness's are seared.

My hope is not in politics any longer. Politics and politicians have completely failed us. Who today believes that Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell are our saviors? Who believes that a Republican House and Senate have taken one step to halt Obama and the vast evil he and the Democrats have unleashed?

My hope is in Christ alone.

You are correct, of course. Christ is the only Hope.

That said, we do not know that we are in, or near, the End Times.

It is our duty as Americans, as Christians, and as men, to do what we can to defeat the spawn of Satan that is liberalism as represented by Hillary.
