I woke up at 4AM there is nothing but infomercials so I put the TV on BBC. They were whining about Brexit and the far right in France, running across the bottom was Trump says Hillary’s guards should disarm.
I knew exactly what he’d meant because I am not brain dead. I flip it over to Fox and they are talking about it and speculating that Trump wants Hillary assassinated. 30 seconds of the news and I’m already disgusted by their take.
The media has made a tactical error.
If they could have played it straight down the middle for a couple of months then they could have sprung a couple of nasty October surprises and wounded Trump.
Instead they declared all out war on the guy from day one—so now the majority of the public knows the war is on and will (rightly) suspect that anything the media says between now and election day is disinformation and part of the war effort.
Trump needs to attack the media head on—and try to get them angry, frustrated and over the top now so everyone laughs at them from now until election day.
He has played them again by the unarmed statement. They are so into the seek and destroy mode now that they will be making continual missteps in their zeal to get even for being punked. On this issue, they will attempt to set the narrative only to be punked again, even worse.
When they start their crap, he will reel them in again only to play her words in how she wants to disarm Joe Six-Pack but is alright with her guards being armed to the hilt. I’m not totally sure how it will go down, but it will be just as spectacular as the smackdown was yesterday.
Kellyanne and Bannon have set the orchestration pit with the correct instruments and the sheet of music, the media has been relegated to simply noisy bystander status and will shortly be looking for the side exit doors.
What is the purpose of the armed SS? To protect POTUS and others deemed needing it. Would the SS be less protective if unarmed? YES! That alone was Trump’s point. Take away the hated guns, and she’s virtually no longer protected. It’s a 2nd A. issue.
I have come across some radical lefties online saying Trump is trying to get Hillary assassinated, which is an absurdist, hysterical, and obtuse interpretation, but it’s crazy to hear that Fox is trying to push propaganda that ignorant and over-the-top. Making this about “assassination” instead of Hillary’s hypocrisy is an insult to our intelligence and will lose the propagandists even more support (that’s the upside at least). Too bad our “press” has already moved into full Pravda mode. Actual journalism is dead in this country. The propaganda media has killed it.
