Minor Garrett, the MSM, and their masters, the Clintons were had yesterday. Hillary makes a speech, after which the coughing starts up again, demanding an apology for something her campaign started - the birther issue. Then Trump leaks out he is going to address the issue with no follow-up questions. The press is jumping for joy how they are going to use the racist charge until November, and how Hillary was right about the deplorables. Even Stuart Varney (FBN) was worried about how this was going to be another off script Trump moment that was going to cede the election to Hillary. Trump has the press moved to the back of the room to fuel the frenzy of speculation and grousing over no follow-up questions. For over an hour this was all the press could talk about. Then Trump comes out and turns the Mic over to CMH recipients and former flag officers for 20 minutes, and finishes with a one sentence declaration that takes the birther issue off the table. CLASSIC! The following MSM meltdown was priceless.

When Trump said he would “address the birther issue” the MSM all began salivating for the Major Grovel they just knew was coming. That is why Corporal Garrett was literally speechless. Can you imagine the amorphous crap that was rolling about in his head for that minute before he was able to say anything?
Why doesn’t Major Meltdown go ahead and state the fact that the whole “birther” issue as it exists right now, is one more desperate attempt by the Clinton campaign and her media minions, to save her failing campaign. No one cares about it, even 0bama essentially threw the media and Clinton under the bus yesterday when he said it’s time to talk about important things.
That was less of a smirk than a semi controlled grimace. He knew and deeply felt that he was, as once was said, had.
Had he said that the MSM would have felt justified and would have doubled down. In stead of slapping them in the face he unlatched the trap door under them.
They wanted drama and got farced.
The media were all so mad they hammered him all evening, every channel - “he went on about Obama’s birth certificate for years!!!! he can’t just say this and expect it to be over. He’s a liar about it!!! It wasn’t Hillary!!! It was racist!! blah...”
They seriously jumped the shark!! They looked like children. I couldn’t believe they were going on and on and on about it. Pathetic - people don’t care about Obama anymore!!!
The foreign birth thing got started way back in 1991 when Barak Hussein himself claimed he was born in Kenya in print.
