Trump is within sight of 50%.
His lead is now solid and its expanding by the day.
The next issue will be how many Republican candidates will be swept into office by the Trump wave.
And let us not forget— these are rigged polls. I wonder what his real numbers are.

At this point the media and Clinton are conspiring to create a fictitious “October Surprise” to derail Trump. We all recall the fraudulent Dan Rather smear on GWB. This one is going to be even worse. They’ll pay someone to come on TV to allege rape, underage sex, fraud, treason, or sme other heinous crime. Trump won’t have time to fully debunk the smear and it will become the only issue for the MSM the final 2 or 3 weeks of the campaign.

I think littleharbour’s speculation is well founded. Speculating that the press will fabricate a story out of thin air is not a criticism of Trump. If the press does that, it’s a form of the very “mediagate” that you tout. I expect the same thing. If you think the press has been deplorable (in the true sense of the word) up to now, just wait.
Trump is already demonized enough. He is called so many heinous things. Another sensational accusation would make little impact. It may work a little if Trump parade himself as a moral titan, but that is not the case.

The “undecideds” cannot be counted. I saw a poll yesterday with Hillary ahead a couple of points but the undecideds were quite a big number.
40% would vote for a dead Hillary.

I wonder whether enough people still trust the media for them to have much effect. A recent poll showed dismal trust for the MSM.
Yep. No weakling she, but she is still the weakest of the three. She's currently under attack for not being deferential to the Cosmopolitan [magazine] political reporter. The press feels totally justified too, because each of the adult kids is active in the campaign. I read how the interview went down, and this issue is fabricated from thin gruel, in the same category as manufactured outrage over Khan, Curiel and similar. Factual observations are twisted into racism, hypocrisy, or transmogrified into tangential issues.
