To all the Trump fans here who are still upset with those Conservatives who were late to jump on the Trump train - be happy that Trump has been making serious inroads with these people. Remember that one year ago we did have a very strong slate of candidates, and each one had supporters who were very enthusiastic.
Now compound Trump’s managing to outlive all the other candidates and getting the nomination - with many truly nasty comments about others - comments that were crude.
Although I was dismayed about Donald’s behavior, I was always going to vote for him and NEVER for Hillary. But for others, he had made of himself a pariah. I have a sister and a good friend who are both saying they will not vote for Trump because they cannot support his behavior.
I have decided to not talk about it to either of them. They are leaning to either not voting for POTUS or for a third party candidate. With Trump now demonstrating a more measured personality, and advocating some serious solutions to issues, people are able to see and hear him and realize that he is a successful businessman, and is certainly smart enough - so why not contemplate voting for him? Hillary is a disaster, personally, politically, and is not well.
Besides, why not join us and jump into the large basket of Deplorables? It’s lots of fun in here.
So, I ask you to be patient with these never Trumpers. I think 80% o them will vote for Donald when they actually get the ballot set before them.

In the late 80s and into the 90s and beyond, during the epic ramp up to the border invasion of tens of millions which created massive wide spread violence, crime, and a colossal burden on American tax payers, El Rushbo mostly kept his mouth shut too and ranted about feminazis and football. For years he was all but silent on the country killing issue, only occasionally would pop off with with a comment. He spent more time on golf and what a great family the Bush's are than this violent invasion. Actually did sleepovers in a Bush White House while bumping bellies with the Bush's, doing sleepovers in a Bush White House during wartime while Bush celebrated Cinco De Mayo up in the White House. All this and Limbaugh was still mostly silent as millions flooded in along with the violence/crime et al.
And btw, I am not a fan of any man. Fan is short for fanatic. I'm certainly not one of those people, OK?
If Trump does something and starts acting like the SOB's in D.C. have for the past 28 years, fails to enforce law and creates policy which causes harm to this country and our people, I would be among the first to let him and anyone else know about it without hesitation.
If you want to keep your mouth shut about all this, go for it. Just don't suggest others do the same. I'll speak out when I see fit. I don't need to be lectured by anyone, and that includes you. Just so we have an understanding.☺
