Why subsidize anything? Why should I have to make up the difference for someone else having kids? I’m @#_&@# tired of paying for everyone else.
Why farm out your children to strangers to raise? Tighten the belt and have one parent stay home to raise the kids properly. Oh, yeah, because daddy isn’t in the picture and mama doesn’t have enough self respect or responsibility to keep her legs together.
In past generations, grandma babysat. Today’s generation doesn’t want grandma around but they’ll take from everyone else.
That’s one of the most broad and overgeneralized statements I’ve seen in a while.
I work because I have to. My husband is a hard worker in a the dying coal industry. We have a small mortgage and minimal debt. If we “tighten our belt” any more than we do we’ll be homeless.
Assuming every mother that works is a whore, raising kids to dead beat dads is ridiculous, even for the most old and crotchety Freeper.
The economy doesn’t allow for one parent to stay home anymore.
