Americans of color to the rescue? That’s how MTV‘s Ana Marie Cox sees it. Appearing on today’s Morning Joe, Cox said: “I feel like if Hillary Clinton wins in the fall, it will be because the black and brown people of America have saved us, like they do a lot of time.”
Cox, perhaps best known as founder of the Wonkette blog, was preceded on set by Marcela Valdes of the New York Times, whose recent article noted the lack of political engagement in Latino culture [emphasis added]: “through all my conversations, I began to fear the real roots of political engagement, which lie not in quadrennial outreach programs but around dinner tables and in churches and classrooms, are far more absent from Latino life in America than most people understand.”

With “friends” like McCain, Graham, Ayotte, etc. in the Senate, I expect the resistance to be more than the leftist bureaurocracy.
Hard to describe, people there just sort of looked....through... me. Like I wasn't there. I've no doubt that if something had happened, then I'd have been 100% on my own and no one would have seen anything.
In Hillary’s last three major public appearances (DNC, Labor Day, 9/11), her health publicly failed in two of them.
She has signed on for three debates. The odds are very much in favor of another public health failure at one of them at least. If that happens, a Trump Presidency goes from probable to certain.

Clinton and the Dems need blacks and browns to win, and are working to do things that favor blacks and browns. These include everything from supporting racist affirmative action programs to trying to import waves of their co-ethnics, to supporting the ridiculous BLM narrative.
Trump, in comparison, is still selling the old-time "color blind" America. He's making a concerted effort to message directly to blacks and browns, but with the message: you are all just Americans, you don't need to vote in the ghetto.
Implicitly Trump is the white candidate. That is if merely in opposition to Hillary's message, he's the alternative. Thus his strong support among racially aware whites on the Alt Right, which Hillary has noted, repeatedly.
Calling white people "racist" for not agreeing to accept indefinite second-class status for themselves and their children has not proven to be a winning message for Hillary and the Dems.
One things for sure there is much more of an undercurrent of race in this election than in previous ones. The fact that Obama himself is (half) black sort of disguised this. It's more nakedly obvious with Hillary because she has to use political goodies and explicit messaging to achieve the black-brown connection. That's a lot more obvious to whites paying attention than Obama's smile, which did the same for him.
We have not come close to reaching the end point of the polarization of political parties. The Dems essentially have: blacks for 95% for the Dems.
Were whites to merely move to voting GOP in the same percents that Jews and Hispanics vote for Dems this election would already be over.
One can expect some candidate to move from implicitly white messaging to explicitly white messaging at some point in the future, at which point a real Rubicon will have been crossed and the Balkanization of American politics will be complete.
