-- Kellyanne Conway dispatched Alison Cammorata on CNN and Mika B.on MSNBC in the past two days.
She is awesome. Like Zorro, with words, insteads of a sword.

CNN New Day - September 13, 2016 - 8 am

CAMEROTA: Will Donald Trump release anything from the IRS proving that he's under audit?

CONWAY: I don't know. Why? Are you calling him a liar?

CAMEROTA: We're taking his word for it.

CONWAY: Are you calling him a liar? And we're taking Hillary Clinton's word for it that she was overheated and didn't have pneumonia or that she's going to be aspirational or uplifting or she's going to start talking to the press again. Seriously, we're running against a Clinton and we're going to challenge someone's veracity?

The subject of proof of being under audit was dropped - at least temporarily. Camerota is a lightweight, plus she's got the weaker hand in the side of every argument she supports.

-- The press dutiful runs with the fake pneumonia narrative, and throws in the false issue of Trump's tax returns. --

The press is comical on the tax return argument. I doubt interest in them is as high as they imagine it to be. Of course the circle of people they run with is interested, but that doesn't translate into broad public interest. For those who made their whole life in politics, the tax returns are a window into their hidden pecuniary interests. Trump's career doesn't have that.

Trust me, if Trump had anything wrong with his tax returns, the IRS would have taken him down long ago. Obama would have seen to that.
