It is a sad day when such a high-ranking priest has to publicly state the obvious to those who are supposed to be devout.
My first thought was “Bishop Obvious to the Rescue!” ... but you’re right. Sometimes the culture is so corrupt that someone has to pick up a clue-bat and start swinging.
