If you’re in favor of punitive taxes for health reasons here, are you opposed to punitive taxes on sodas? Candy? Junk food? Fast food?

Where do you personally draw the line, as far as advocating taxation to punish things you don’t like?

Why stop at the ‘obviously bad’? Sports (rock climbing, running [bad for the knees+], contact (football, rugby), etc.)? Drinking? Hell, getting out of BED in the morning has a greater risk of heart-attack, down to the how\when\frequency of coitus\gay....

Once the ‘payment’ is made by the TAXPAYER, it behooves the same to keep claims\payouts *low*. And any\all actions thus become ‘fair game’.
