My guess is that both assumed they could just guide her and that she would provide some motor function on her own. However, that proved to not be the case. Thus when they stepped off of the curb they were surprised by that fact and had to increase the assistance they were providing before they lost her completely and she did a face plant into the van.
I’ve been thinking that she was had to medicate with anti seizure meds (valium) and it hit her like brick. That’s how she was able to recover in a couple of hours.

I think she had a seizure. I used to get them. When they first start you can be in a dead stare, and no be able to communicate. Then eventually the whole thing rapidly intensifies, but you don’t remember anything. Then eventually you wake up with a large head ache with every muscle in your body extremely sore. I woke up twice on a stretcher being loaded into an ambulance. So, I would be out about 20 minutes or so.
One thing that aggravates someone with epilepsy, is alcohol. For me, I quit alcohol and I stopped getting them.

In DUmmyland, I found an interesting nugget. They excused her ‘overheating’ because of her heavy clothing...and one poster claimed that HRC had in the past stated that she wore long sleeves ‘because people are always grabbing her arms’, and it hurts less with long sleeves.
Why would people always grab her arms? To get her attention...maybe...but I wouldn’t try that more than once. More likely she’s constantly being propped up by people holding her arms, and she’s very sore...which would explain why they didn’t grab her that hard at first.
I wondered about that also. It looked to me like at least three people, the two men and a woman, were trying to hold her up. She was not walked but was shaking and swaying like a puppet on a string. When her handlers dragged her off the curb they appeared to drop her. Maybe just lost their grip on her. She did not stumble.
It’s like lifting weights. You crank up for a certain amount. If that amount is suddenly doubled or trebled, the weight is going to drop until you compensate.
They were probably providing 25 to 35 pounds of upward support under each armpit, which is a lot of support. Then she passed out (or lost complete motor control) and became dead weight. All of a sudden each one had to support 80 or 90 pounds. It takes time to compensate, maybe even two hands instead of one.
