Great post. Thank you. I hate the Cruz bashing on here. I am 1000% on board for Trump after being for Cruz during the primary. Cruz has fought for conservative principles. Is he perfect? No. But no candidate is perfect. As evidenced in this adticle, he is trying to do the right thing. Prayerfully, we will all try to do the right thing. Please stop bashing him

However, in spite of my issues with Cruz, I would stop bashing him if HE would simply HONOR HIS PLEDGE...Oh and apologize for the crap he pulled at the GOP convention...Until he does those things, he is not trying to do the right thing...
I heard Priebus saying that there were data agreements made with these candidates...Candidates received benefits in exchange for their pledge to support the nominee. Of course, Ted thought HE would be the nominee...He always said so...never allowed himself to consider the alternative.
So Ted broke more than simply his word—although he said he gave his word and would honor it...So much for His word...
It is more than a pledge...He is not honoring a contract.

I agree. Cruz blew it big time and lost cred when he refused to honor the pledge to support the nominee. I would have a hard time voting get for him for senator if I lived in Texas. But the continuous bashing doesn’t help anyone.. this is a great article and what Cruz said in it should be magnified, not denigrated
