After Stalin had what would turn out to be a fatal seizure, his handlers were too afraid to disturb him to get him help. The head of his secret police showed a vicious protectiveness up until the point he was sure Stalin was dead. The thought has occurred to me that her minions are scared sh1tless about even suggesting that she go seek medical help. She does have quite a reputation for treating her underlings very harshly.
