Strange - I was almost 100% certain she had suffered from sexism rather than ageism. Well, as long as she was able to triumph over the oppression she encountered, all is well in her fertile imagination.
I thought so as well, but this seems to be the main version she went with. It looks like earlier versions of the story may also have included alleged sexism.
