In the James Bond novel "From Russia With Love", the chess expert/planner is called out of a match by Smersh. He mentions, in passing, that he will have to put one of his children in the hospital to explain his sudden departure. This way he can cover his membership in a super secret spy organization.
Only the fantastically stupid Left can think themselves that "clever". They actually believe their own propaganda. What a sick joke.

This does not make any sense. If true then how come the long and potentially dangerous delay in her diagnosis and the floating of totally wrong alternative diagnoses. This indicates either huge incompetence or serious misdirection. Misdirection is the simple and likely explanation (she lies about everything else...)
I do believe that members of her staff are feeling sick right now, though.
