Cruz absent from Values Voter Summit
Washington Times ^ | Sept. 11, 2016 | Bradford Richardson

Ted Cruz may have won the Values Voter Summit straw poll three years running, but attendees at this weekend’s social conservative gathering in Washington, D.C., weren’t happy with the Texas senator’s refusal to back Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Debra Wagers, who made the trek to the summit with her husband, Ron, from Commerce, Michigan, said she supported Mr. Cruz in the GOP primary race.

“But I felt like once Donald Trump won the nomination, then Ted should have stepped up to the plate and kept the party together, and as a united group [of] Republicans to beat Hillary,” said Mrs. Wagers, 60. “You don’t want to get mad and act like a little brat and take your marbles home.

We did actually vote for Ted Cruz in the primary, but we are backing Donald Trump now,” she said

wait 8 years to run for president again.

Rafael won't be eligible in 4, 8, 12, 16, or 20 years either.

Ignore him. As irritating as he is, we need him in the Senate to stop dooshes like Chicken Mitch and Juan McCain.

You’re NOT to be trusted.

His campaign logo, TrusTED reminded me of used car salesmen who tell you in an oily slick voice that they are the most ethical salesmen in the business. I run in the opposite direction to get away from them.

I considered backing Ted. But I decided to go with Trump, instead, because I saw Trump as someone who will stand up for his beliefs. I am happy I did so!

The way Cruz handled the NBC question convinced me that he is NOT eligible.

The intellectually honest approach would be to offer this syllogism:

1) Proffer a definition of NBC, and provide evidence for it.

2) Show how he fits the definition of NBC, with documents.

Instead, Cruz:

1) Sealed his documentation.

2) Said, “This is settled law.”

3) Said, “I’m focusing on issues that matter to the American People.” (Which is, IIRC, how Bill Clinton ended his “that woman” statement: “I’m going to get back to doing the job the American People elected me to do.”)

Cruz is done, over, finished. He had a great career as the alt-Cornyn and totally ended his career reneging on his pledge.

Wasn’t Cruz one of those in the primaries who ... wait. I forgot. I have pneumonia. Well my doctor said I have Cognitive Impairment (CI) and this caused me to get pneumonia when I forgot I have CI and forgot how to use the bathroom, and I washed my throat with toilet bowl cleaner. But sometimes I am ok. And we need to show that even if your head wobbles sometimes, anyone can be President. Even me.

Born outside USA- not eligible!

Born of Cuban father convert to Canadian - not eligible!

Born of EX-PAT American mother who garnered expedited Canadian citizenship due to her recent 8 year British residency. - not eligible!

Born of TWO Canadians in Canada =Thrice ineligibility.

Father ditched American family (Julia Garza) with two infant girls and then used a new woman (Eleanor) to flee to Canada. Avoid be hunted down by Warren Commission (Jim Garrrison) for JFK testimony and got expedited Canadian citizenship in one year. And he held onto that Canadian citizenship for THIRTY-FIVE YEARS -until 2005.

Think about it people. There are repercussions for the opportunistic behavior of the bigamist government operative father- Lee Harvey CruzWald.

And, in 2013, when the nosey Texas press discovered that Ted’s folks were voting as Canadian citizens, the answer was a delayed denial by Cruz campaign operatives- “the Cruz’s weren’t in Canada long enough to qualify for citizens.” BS- pure BS.

Jim Garrison and the Warren Commission are totally unrelated.

Yes, Garrison discredits the Commission findings and there’s this:

Cruz was in New Orleans during 1963, the year that N.O. District Attorney Jim Garrison declared N.O. was the focal point for the plot to assassinate JFK.

The assassination plot involved several Cuban exiles. Accused assassin, Oswald, claimed as part of his “fake defector” persona developed by the CIA, to be a member of the Fair Play for Cuba (Pro-Castro). The FPfC committee just happened to share an office address with Guy Banister’s private investigation agency.

Banister Associates was located on the ground floor of the Newman Building -Lafayette Street while Oswald’s “pro-Castro” Fair Play for Cuba was located around the corner but on the ground floor of the same building. Guy Banister was a retired FBI agent who continued to carry out tasks for the bureau and the CIA. The Newman Building housed a number of anti-Castro groups, including the Cuban Revolutionary Council, Crusade to Free Cuba Committee, the Cuban Democratic Revolutionary Front, Anti-Communist League of the Caribbean, and Friends of Democratic Cuba. Cruz was active with anti-Castro movements and the chances that he did not cross paths with Banister and the other anti-Castro activists is highly unlikely.

While living in N.O. with his wife, Garza, Cruz claimed residency at two addresses, one a low-rent apartment building off of Jackson Avenue. Cruz worked for an oil company in N.O. and has a blurry memory about his time line there including his move from Dallas.
