I went Mac in 2008. I have never had an issue with viruses or malware. I never have an issue with software or hardware. It’s expensive but so trouble free in my experience.

You’ll pay twice as much for a MC to get the same performance on a PC.
A PC can do anything a MAC can do if it is set up correctly. Unfortunately, most companies add crapware (free software that is free for two months then hoodwinks you into buying a it) to increase their profit margins.
Since Apply makes both the hardware and software, they don’t need to, they just charge more for it.
I only build my own PCs and put Windows on it myself. Never had an issue. BTW, Windows 8 and 10 both come with FREE anti-virus software made by Microsoft as part of the operating system.

Switched to IMac a few years ago. Once you get used to the differences from Windows you won’t go back. No problems experience with Virus problems. Very rare error message comes up on some sites that fakes a problem but there’s an easily goggled get around to remove it.....
Also you can get a Mac compatible Word, Excel, Powerpoint, package that works great.
