The “basket of deplorables” is the number the #1 trending subject on Tweeter. At 7 AM Clinton’s comments was the lead story on CNN. They’re scared she’s stepped in it. This comes on the heels two days ago of her calling Trump supporters “racists and haters”. Fox so far (in the tank for Hillary) have ignored her remarks. MSNBC’s lead story was Trump giving a campaign donation to Pam Bondi. So the Clinton camp is worried sick that this could be her “47%” moment, in-spite of Fox blowing it off.
She has stepped in it (further). And it’s hard to wiggle out of this one, save for an apology. You just can’t call millions of patriotic Americans engaged in the political process deplorable and expect to skate.
