Reminds me of the black gal I met 40 yrs ago....her name was De LOIS because her MOTHER couldn’t pronounce Delores!!! OMG.
Maybe his parents couldn’t decide between two names, so they mixed the sounds together. Sometimes it works, other times it just sounds odd. OR, it’s a fake name he cooked up on the spot.

Puzzled over the pronunciation of that for a bit and decided that maybe the “o should be silent”? LOL. It’s no wonder people can no longer spell anything correctly.
