Minnesota, the state that put an illegally elected Al Franken in the Senate.

I responded in kind. Did you try to correct the other person or do just go after whoever you blindly pick.

oOK, so apparently the alnternates were not picked at the convention, but they picked them once they found out they needed to do so.

They did their best to comply.

But okay, perhaps they did not do it by the rules. Fine.

Explain to me why not having alternates chosen (which they did do) at the convention,

results in the presidential candidate for that party to warrant being pulled off the ballot?

Explain that, as THAT particular result, is nowhere stated, IN THE RULES.

For the “rules are rules” people.

They are demanding a judge do this. Because that response is nowhere noted as a penalty for breaking this rule.

You “fair is fair” zero tolerance idiots cannot see that they are just attempting to get something political for a technical violation they did remedy once they discovered it needed to be done.

It is attemptong to take advantage of a situation because the rules do not specify that presidential candidates can’t appear on the ballot if alternate electoral college delegates are not chosen at the convention - the democrats are tryign to get a judge to set a precedent that does not yet exist, but that the democrats DESIRE to exist to damage the other side politically.

“Based on what I’ve read over the years the RATs could very well win this.”

Trump should tell the neo-Nazi rats in Minnesota that the state will be declared in insurrection and subjected to the 1867-68 Reconstruction Act. That means appointing a military governor and moving federal troops into the state. That’s the first step.

Nope, you didn’t. My first post to you was not adversarial. Your reply however, was. Everyone can see that too.

The Secy of State in Minnesota, if it still is Mark Ritchie, is a documents Communist Party USA sympathizer (see the website www.keywiki.org, search under his name for the documentation).

The Democrat-Farmer Labor organization was literally taken over many decades ago by the CPUSA and its sympathizers. As Yoda would say, “That orientation is still strong in them”.

Also look up “Erwin Marquit” a longtime professor in Minnesota and leader of the CP there. You’ll find out a lot about Minnesota you didn’t know, and it isn’t pleasant.

Right... There was no intent to break the law. End of story per the FBI director.

I’m surprised the DFL (Minn Democrat party name) is even worried about Trump, Minnesota hasn’t gone Republican since Nixon. I’d guess this means they might be seeing something unexpected (a la Jessie ventura) coming and/or they are worried about a strong Trump turnout will at least go against their down-ticker candidates.

And the MN Democrats have also banned write-in candidates because it discriminates against people who can’t write— ie, Democrats.

No they didn't. It would be a hassle, but the backlash would be huge.

Rules from the Minnesota SOS

Candidates for Federal Office
A write-in candidate for U.S. President, U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative must file a written request for his or her votes to be counted. This request must be filed with the Office of the Secretary of State no later than November 1, 2016.

Presidential candidates must also include the name of a vice-presidential candidate and the name of at least one, but not more than ten, candidates for presidential elector.

Lets be blunt here. Again I say that if they try this, and a Totalitarian ‘judge’ allows this, the backlash would be huge. Remember, independents would find this stunt sickening. The DFL Totalitarians have no clue.
