Donald Trump will attend the funeral service tomorrow in St. Louis of friend and supporter Phyllis Schlafly.
Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly passed away at age 92 on Monday.
Schlafly was a constitutional lawyer, conservative activist, author, speaker, columnist and founder of the Eagle Forum.
Phyllis was active promoting conservative agenda until her passing. She wrote a weekly column for over 50 years. Schlafly released a book in August with co-authors Ed Martin and Bret Decker – The Conservative Case for Trump.

We had no problems with protesters at our rally in Everett, Washington. The protestors were on one side of the street and we were on the other side. The Everett police made that happen with strict enforcement. Failure to obey the orders of a police officer was a trip to the jail. It would bring one more than a traffic ticket and an arrest record which employers do not tolerate.

We have lost a stalwart ally and inspiration! I am sure that she would want her courageous efforts till the very end to be a call to continuing action.
I would have been surprised if he said he wasn’t going. Thus I always assumed he would go. Good to have confirmation though.

Of course they will. Anything to keep up the facade that they are “conservatives”. And they will immediately bash and criticize Trump for attending, and that he’s not a “real” conservative, and did it for political grandstanding. I can already hear Levin’s voice and Ted’s phony cadence while snidely smirking.
I imagine the media will now make snarky comments about the "lack of enthusiasm" in the church and how the crowd was "subdued" thinking ahead to their imminent defeat in November. Such a contrast to the funeral of the "much-beloved" Paul Wellstone.
Sigh.
How many GOPe will be there to sell their own books, promote their TV or radio shows, or just plain grovel for money?

Her book endorsing Trump came out the day after she died - I can see him feeling obligated to attend someone whose last act was something like that.
That it gives her book and him even more good publicity is a bonus.
Hope they ask Donald to speak.... and he does it in reverence.
