before the Marines, too, she didn’t think of joining the Marines (allegedly) until she was already living in Arkansas.... at which time, as an extremely ambitious young graduate of Yale Law School her first thought was to put aside all of her legal training and seek to become an Marine Rifleman!!!

I could be totally wrong, but I think the timeline is:
1. Rejected by NASA
2. Rejected by the Marines
3. Subjected to sexist abuse while taking the LSAT
4. Teaching about Jesus's love in Sunday School
5. Sniper fire
6. Feelin' no ways tard
7. Comin' too faaaaaar
Any others? I'm sure the list could reach 100s of items.
