(Mark) Levin: I'm voting for Trump ... here's why
Conservative Review ^ | September 6, 2016 | Phil Shiver

Mark Levin made the big announcement Tuesday night on his radio show after methodically walking listeners through his rationale.

(snip)

It wasn’t all bad for Trump, however, as Levin later spoke positively about his tax plan, his positions on immigration, law enforcement, and foreign policy. Levin did offer a common and recurring disclaimer: Trump is NOT reliable.

But then … the announcement. Listen here:

(audio at link)

Before getting to Trump, Levin had plenty to say about Hillary Clinton. In short – she is far too dangerously liberal to allow anywhere near the Oval Office.

I'll NEVER listen to his show ever again.

You couldn't pay me to listen to that phony POS again.

Go to hell, Levin.

GOPe JERK.

I can forgive, but, in no way will I welcome him back into my home. He made his bed - laid down the dogs and now can scratch his fleas.

Read my reply to Proust... I don’t necessarily believe Trump will do everything he says, but he is going to be a solid conservative. I truly believe that.

These days, Trump can hardly do wrong by promising a lot and delivering little, because the GOPe has promised little and delivered next to nothing.

Was a big Levin fan for a long time, he totally turned me off with all the anti-trumping.

Ain't a big person on forgiveness, so the best I can say right now is , "We'll see.".

I felt the same way Levin did at first. But even though I believe Trump isn’t a strict constructionist, his fight against political correctness, love of country and his tenacity in his fight against Hillary has made me a fan. I truly believe he cares about America and there are few people at the top in DC who either care or have the power to change anything.

These are more perilous time than almost any in history. The world wars were bad but we were united. The communists in the 40s and 40’s were a threat but we were mostly united against them. It’s different now but Trump is uniting Americans because he knows how to speak to the American heart.

Saying Trump is not reliable is not an endorsement. Levin is playing a different game. We’ll see what it is eventually.

Depressing voter enthusiasm for Trump is not an endorsement. Levin can vote for whoever he wants. He’s not supporting Trump. Period.

Well Levin is not supporting Trump 100%. He is ok with “conservatives” giving a half a vote to Hillary. Today Levin says he doesn’t understand conservatives who will vote for Hillary, but he understands if constitutional conservatives don’t want to vote for Trump. He says they have to vote their conscience.

I’m sorry but these people are not conservative and they have no conscience. In 2012 Levin told these people that he has NO TOLERANCE for people saying they would go third party or would not vote. He said we get behind Romney!

Mark should be telling all conservatives that there is no 3rd party, voting for anyone but Trump is not voting your concience and will ensure HC wins. He should also be saying to get over #Cruz because he lost. But he just won’t do it!

Mark says Trump immigration plan is unreliable and his plan now is no different than any of the other people who ran. Mark says he will NEVER forgive Trump for that. Oh Really? Trump’s plan is the same as Jeb’s who would have been the nominee if Trump didn’t get it? So Trump is now for amnesty and open borders?

Trump did what he did and he won. Give him some credit for beating 16 others instead of acting like it was easy. If he had to do it all over again, I’d suggest he do everything the same and that includes insulting Cruz who starting insulting Trump first with the finger on the buttom smear.

“Trump is a protectionist” ..are you a fake economist now like you claimed Larry Kudlow is? Don’t you remember pre-NAFTA? You remember all the factories that were actually producing stuff, and not empty?

“Protectionism” — everything pre-NAFTA was “protectionism”. It served America just fine. Reagan entered trade wars and protected American business.

I didn’t support Trump at first. But I now feel he loves this country enough to risk his life and fortune to save it. He is the right man for the time. He has the potential to be one of the great leaders and presidents.

“enough to risk his life and fortune to save it”

Yup. Money talks.

Levin hasn’t put up squat.

Meanwhile they make good and damn sure to spend the rest of their show making sure anyone who listens won’t want to vote for Trump by bashing the hell out of him..

Sort of like "I like Sarah but......."

“Yeah, I heard him, big deal. Who cares, it’s too little, too late. And it’s too lukewarm to matter.”

My thoughts exactly. Levinie Weenie has done more damage in the recent past than this move will produce positive results in the 11th hour.

Considering that Trump is a 1000 times better, more astute candidate than global warming alarmist McCain or the varmint-shooting stiff Romney; and that Trump’s platform is more conservative than anything we’ve seen since the Harding/Coolidge era, Levin should be doing backflips for him (like he did for Mittens).

Instead, because he invested all his energy in supporting a guy who got clobbered by Trump, he essentially led the NeverTrump movement for the last few months, convincing the retards among his audience that Trump is a complete phony. (Really mark, compared to McAmnesty and RomneyCare?)

I hope he plans to do some heavy lifting for Trump from here on out, otherwise I’ll won’t be tuning in again, ever.

In what regard, Levin? As a husband, politician, or capitalist?

Dope.

This is a big deal, in that there ARE people that make decisions based on pundits views. It’s a numbers game at this point. I have said for a long time they’re either going to break for Trump late or feel the wrath during a Clinton Presidency. Mark Levin I like so I’m glad to see this and I don’t think it’s all about ratings. I think a lot of people aren’t particularly happy with Trump, but the closer it gets reality is going to hit and I can’t believe anyone can take the Clintons back in the WH. I wouldn’t even put it past Glenn Beck— now he may actually do it for ratings but he’ll claim he had a vision from an alien Mormon god who told him we can’t elect Hillary. But I know people this line will work on. And as an aside, my husband has answered a few polls saying he supports Johnson. I said “Why in the world?” He said of course he’s voting Trump, he’d vote for our cat over Hillary (and he doesn’t really like the cat) but he wants Trump to “keep working for his conservative vote”. I’m hoping this is the “not-so-silent” majority of 2016.

I’m sure Mark Levin felt like he had gone to the dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction with no anesthesia. But, in the end, he did what was logical considering his choices. Maybe the George Wills of the GOPe world can learn from this.
