As someone who watched those buildings go up, worked in and around them for almost 20 years, was in lower Manhattan that morning and knew people murdered that day, I can say that you have no idea whatever of just how angry many NYers and former NYers truly are. Every year as the calendar rolls around to September, a visceral discomfort starts to well up in my gut. Whenever I go back to NY and that hole in the skyline appears on the horizon, my stomach turns. You cannot begin to imagine the feeling of impotent rage that I and other NYers endure.
So ...a little...angry doesn't even come close, FRiend.
