When, and if, a people become too civilized to do what’s necessary to survive in an uncivilized world, they simply won’t survive, they don’t deserve to survive, and good riddance.
If you haven’t noticed, survival of the fittest is still being contested here on the third planet, and when you, your family, and your people’s survival are threatened, the proper response in an uncivilized world is to eliminate that threat even if it requires killing every man, woman, and child of the enemy. If you are too “Civilized to do that, prepare to join the Dodo birds.

I don’t know what the perfect answer is, but I cannot believe that killing every follower of Islam is it. We didn't have to kill every German. Hell, we didn't kill every Nazi either.
We didn't have to kill every Japanese. We didn't even have to kill every Imperial militarist.
All we have to do is kill enough, in what to them is the most repugnant manner, so that the remainder will understand that to remain a "believer" just ain't worth it.

We need to root out cells within our nation, and across Western Civilization.
We need to end all immigration from terrorist nations / and belief systems.
Then we take radical measures against those that take actions on our soil.
If someone is observed going something, hold a quick trial and execute them in public. Deport their relatives.
Get serious about this, and it can be reduced significantly.
