Translation: He has done damage to Hillary, so he is a bastard.

In 1963 the NY Times changed their “stylebook” stating that the perpetrators of crimes would no longer be identified by “race.” This newspaper died as a purveyor of “truth” at that moment, although it was softly “progressive” prior to that. To call it the “newspaper of record” has to be, at the most, satire. They have been propagandist scum for a long time. This stylebook change was announced during my Introduction to Journalism class in 1963 and was the reason I decided NOT to go into Journalism.

...the reason I decided NOT to go into Journalism.

As Holmes said to Watson, "you were at the precipice."

I congratulate you on the saving of your soul.

The one thing that most people don't get and understand is that McCarthy was precisely and positively correct in his assertion that the government was infested by Soviet spies and turncoats. A good place to confirm this is by reading the book: Blacklisted by History by M. Stanton Evans.

I don’t really like Assange or often agree with his political leanings but I have to have a degree of respect for him.

Evidently, there is bad McCarthyism (what Republicans do), and good McCarthyism (what the Dems and the MSM do).

The “purveyor of truth” moniker hasn’t been applicable since they began publishing Walter Duranty’s drivel.

McCarthy was wrong. He serverely underestimated the extent of Soviet infiltration. The Times has been rag for some time. They still have Pulitzer Prize winner Walter Duranty on their wall.

The irony is that it is their progeny that are being accused of McCarthyism.

“They still have Pulitzer Prize winner Walter Duranty on their wall.”

The Pulitzer Price is about as much a “prize” as is the Nobel Crap. They’ve taken what was once prizes for things that were done for the betterment of mankind, and turned them into something they give to good Communists and One World a$$holes.

American history is full of such things...
... We take things to 90% and then back off. I can’t figure it out.

Since Korea, anyway.

This newspaper died as a purveyor of “truth” at that moment

It died long, long, before that.

While 30 MILLION people were starved to death in Ukraine, the NYT told the world everything was fine over there.

The New York Times appears to have lowered itself to Mr. McCarthy’s standards as the article on Assange does not contain one bit of hard evidence . . . .

The guy who typed in that article should google, mccarthy venona papers. google still lets those three words return information about the Venoma Papers. A key source that I believe confirms a lot of what McCarthy said.

Watching TV shows like I Led Three Lives I certainly believed McCarthy.

Read the book, He named names. The book lays out in minute detail on how he was right all along about the infiltration of the government. Harry Dexter White was an agent. Laughlin Curry was an agent. Elizabeth Bentley was an agent. The whole ranks of the D. C. corps was shot through with agents of the U.S. S. R.. For craps sake, Henry Wallace was an agent. Alger Hiss was an agent. And on, and on. I did my homework.
