In fact, of course, delusional people engage in what people who are not mentally ill consider lying with increasing frequency as their disease progresses. In this case the person may really believe her own clippings as supplied by a mass media joining in the lies with insidious alacrity.
During the primaries he had to at times use hyperbole or even stretch the truth to have the effect desired, as in some of the stuff he threw at Carson. But with Hillary no exaggeration is necessary. All he needs to do is wave a fan over the reeking cesspit of Hillary's record. A record with no achievements but plenty of bodies, both real and figurative. Considering that Hillary has no experience being confronted, has a well known nasty temper, and is a tantrum or two away from a cerebral aneurysm, we might just see her go catatonic or into a Hitleresque carpet chewing rage.

People act like what the Clintons are doing is unusual or not understandable.
They are both lawyers and all lawyers know that one never admits wrongdoing. The job for the other side is to prove wrongdoing. It is not their job to help the provers of wrongdoing.
The biggest thing get convicts many people is their mouths, admitting or saying things that can be used to convict.
So to say I don’t remember or I didn’t understand, is a perfectly normal response for them to make. these statements give away little or nothing.
Innocent or guilty, the response of the defendant is always to not know, or understand, or not remember.

True. But I still have hopes Comey’s not compromised and he was doing a shrewd move on the Democrats. If he had recommended indictment, I don’t think ethically he could have laid out the case as it could have been construed as prejudicial to the defendant. He must know the Dems would have sat on everything and said, “we can’t comment on an ongoing investigation.” Nothing could have been released, could it?
But since he said don’t, he dumps everything he’s got, in dribs and drabs, and the Dems can’t do squat because since she’s in the clear (emails, not Clinton Foundation), they have no argument to keep the evidence sealed. I don’t think they released much on the Clinton Foundation (I think the hackers did that).
History may show that Comey’s move was brilliant.
