Roy Clark - Yesterday When I Was Young (1969)

I saw Roy Clark this evening at an event called "A Conversation with Roy Clark" here in Kansas, and got a book autographed by him. So I thought I would put this song out here. I saw him one other time 36 years ago at the Las Vegas Hilton during a taping of The Mike Douglas Show.

That's the song that came to my mind when I read the title of this post...

Great Minds and all

BTW I learned to play the guitar using a Roy Clark workbook

I was watching late night (early morning) tv a couple of months ago.
Roy was doing a commercial for Hee Haw.
Some company, Time-Life maybe, had the entire run of the show on DVD.
Wasn’t too expensive as I recall.

Thanks for the tip! I checked, and you’re right. Time Life does have a Hee Haw collection for sale. 16 episodes for $100, 27 episodes for $200.

It’s bit pricey, but sometimes they show up on Amazon later and cheaper. So I’ll be keeping an eye on that. Thanks again.

Glad to help.
Hadn’t realized it was that expensive, but it WAS late, late night.
