I completely agree with the points you are making. They didn’t just “go to bed and hope for the best for the morning.” Ridiculous!
And there was no excuse for not being ready to send rescue and extraction teams in in the region. Numerous embassies around the world had been subject to near-violent protests all day long. The protest in Cairo was violent went to the point of nearly breaching the embassy. D.C. had to have been on high alert about our embassies for 10-20 hours before the Benghazi attack.
Watching the spokes idiots of the Ogabe regime after the attack on Bengazhi told me that what they were trying to hide was career ending. Treason level crimes--Death penalty consequences.
They were ashen-faced scared and totally failed in that bs video obfuscation.
I still haven't seen a good theory to what they might have been up to......The run of the mill treason like running guns and supporting Isis wouldn't have rendered them so anxiety ridden after Benghazi because they could spin that. All I can think of is rank greed. Getting U.S. assets killed to pilfer Gaddafi's gold or something like that.
