Thanks for posting the S&W M&P Shield ad. I hadn’t looked to see if they had any models specifically designed for concealed carry.
Now that I know that, I’m going to check out the .40 cal version. I love my SW40VE, but I can only carry it open (which we’re allowed to do in Texas). Being that I live in a big city, I’d rather carry concealed most of the time.
my doctor tried to tell me I have lysdexia but I told him he is nuts.
Just got this baby. Smooth as silk. This old lady can put them all in a six inch circle from fifty feet. Two went in the same hole. Considering I have a slight palsy and a blind spot in my right eye, I think that’s pretty good. Love the smoothness of the trigger pull. Really helps.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that I can no longer shoot with one eye closed and I had to relearn to shoot again with both eyes open.
I wonder if anyone else here has had to do that?
Yes, I’ve had to learn to shoot with both eyes open. It’s a combination of age and a blind spot in one eye. I’m still a good shot. I find that trigger pull is my biggest factor. A hard pull really messes me up. That’s why I really love the new S&W MP Shield. Real soft pull. Plus the sights have white dots on them which makes it a lot easier to aim. I smoked the young’uns with mine. I don’t think there is a better pistol for an older person.
Yup, he's leaning hard on lead...maybe some spent uranium could be used to make bullets...
