The percentage of blacks thriving has risen by about 6 points, as has the percentage of whites and Hispanics. Asian thriving has risen by about 10 points since 2008.

This poll is a subjective self assessment, eight years apart.
Of course things looked bad nationally and individually; as the uniparty’s “everyone gets a home” scam blew up. In 2008 things looked bad.
Plus, we were paying $4 to $5 for a gallon of gas, with no end in sight.

Everybody’s thriving and 70% of the people think the country is heading in the wrong direction - stuck on stupid....
I don’t have a ginormous circle of friends and acquaintances but I do know a lot of people. Not a single one of them would say that they are better off than they were eight years ago.
I don’t know of a single household where there isn’t at least one member who is out of work (and is desperate to be employed again).
I can count on one hand the people who espouse a belief that we (as a nation) are safer or more prosperous than we were. I believe at least half of those who say that only do so in order to vex me.
I’m calling shenanigans on this BS.
Don’t worry, the exact same statistics will be blamed on Trump the moment he sets foot in the Oval office. We’ll jump from “blame Bush” to “blame Trump” without skipping a beat.
