Trump has all the cards here. He can ask for whatever he wants and probably get it. It's no longer a matter of if Trump wins or not. Even if he loses it's going to be close, and he has clearly identified immigration as a voter mobilizing issue that other Republicans will pick up in the future.
Same with trade. Before Trump, job moving to Mexico wasn't on the radar. Mexico's trade surplus will be an issue from now on.
