The University of North Dakota (UND) is offering students the chance to live in a specialized housing community dedicated entirely to social justice.
The Social Justice Living-Learning Community is “designed for students who are involved in promoting a more inclusive and just society,” and promises to provide such students with opportunities for “creating and leading positive social change.”

The goal of this community is vague, students who participate probably indoctrinated to be angry for the sake of being angry, fancacizing that they are somehow making a difference; a kind of Walter Mitty escapism.

Any school in NoDak is going to be pretty conservative. Relatively speaking one to another, I’m sure you can find shades of grey.
They recently changed their name from "The Fighting Sioux" to something more PC. "Emotional NavelGazers", or something.
Trivia Point, their #1 contributor didn't want to see a name change. He died, 10 years or so ago, and UND got a new mascot shortly thereafter...
Turned on the Noon news to see what the local weather forecast might look like for the weekend. Broadcasters happened to be talking about an award given to Rice University in Houston. Private college whose tuition, room and board is pushing $57,000/year. Apparently the snowflakes at Rice were judged to have the “happiest” students of any campus in the U.S. They also ranked high in several other categories such as less divisiveness. Absolutely no categories dealt with anything about academics.
Youngest grandson who is a sophomore in high school commented that his generation is going to have to clean up the mess that the current college kids create.

I love how these self important fools claim they have “designed” it. I would love to see their design criteria. More likely their “design” is a bunch of naval gazing bullsh## and if they actually tried to “design” something the very last thing it would do would be to work.
It all goes south when somebody reminds the brother it’s his turn to do the dishes.
Regarding the free exchange of ideas they say the opposite of “diversity” is “university”.
The YAF should insist on bringing back the Fighting Sioux.

Thanks. He went to a private Baptist grade school from pre-k through the eighth grade and has conservative parents. They all have dinner together followed by Bible study. Hopefully will keep him anchored.

“Culturally inclusive water fountains” are placed discretely around the campus I hope.
Make them sleep on the ground outside as european style housing is culturally appropriation if they are minorities.

Of course the term “social justice” is simply the Left’s euphemism for communist diktat. Makes the naive students more receptive to being manipulated.
