What I read is that there was a group of rightists calling themselves the Alt-Right before Hillary made her comments. And apparently they were delighted that Hillary chose to talk about them because until then no one had heard of them.
Looks to me like it was just more brainless alinskyism.
Overheard a half dozen “colorful” millennial programmers talking about Hillary’s ramblings the next morning. They were giddy and mocking her. I have no doubt that they are 4chan regulars. I had to take an extra walk back through their workstations to try and hear more. Filled me with a little hope!
