I’ve always believed homosexuals moved to cities for the anonymity they provide. Big difference in between being the only homo in a small town vs one of hundreds in a city.

FWIW, I also think the anonymity of city life is why city dwellers tend to be rude. No personal accountability. You can be a jerk to someone and never see them again.
