Trump: Kaepernick 'should find a country that works better for him'
Washington Examiner ^ | August 29, 2016 | Al Weaver

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump fired back at San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick Monday over not standing during the national anthem.

During a radio interview with Seattle-based radio host Dori Monson, Trump said that he wasn't a fan of the move, saying Kaepernick should "find a country" that would suit him better.

"I have followed it, and I think it's personally not a good thing. I think it's a terrible thing," Trump told the host. "Maybe he should find a country that works better for him. Let him try. It won't happen."

The GOP nominee also continued critique of former Rep. Anthony Weiner after Huma Abedin, his wife and a top aide to Hillary Clinton, announced their separation Monday morning. Trump called him a "sick person," adding that he isn't sure if people like Weiner can "get cured" of what ails him...

Perfect answer by Trump: “Maybe he should find a country that works better for him. Let him try. It won’t happen.”

What has this country ever given him? Except for the $12 million just to show up at work, that is. And the $114 million to play a game, $19 million a year, $61 million of which is guaranteed? I mean, it's not like he's rich or privileged or anything!

There's all sorts of countries in which he could be rewarded equally well for his athletic prowess and his willingness to insult every veteran in the place. I'm listing them here:

Yeah, those.

He’s going to lose the San Francisco vote now, for sure. The media and NeverTrumpers will go apoplectic over this, but the pro-America voters will love him even more.

Can you imagine Jeb Bush giving such a response?

More likely, Jeb would be calling it an “act of love” or some such.

The guy’s got a contract to be paid more than a hundred million dollars (playing football). If he thinks he’s oppressed I suggest he go elsewhere where he believes he’ll be happier. We sure don’t need another “oppressed” malcontent here. We already got the illegal infiltrator in chief and his “oppressed” (”let them eat alfalfa”) wife.

I can’t imagine what Jeb the liberal goober would say; only that I’m certain it would be stupid.

And that his response would be learned from NWO Daddy and Mommy.

On target again, Mr. Trump

Off target again; Clinton, and to some degree Obama, are the target. Perhaps he is baiting them; I don't see how this gains him undecided voters. Trump must be careful and not elevate Karpernick to victim status by disparaging his ethnicity (born in Milwaukee) or religion (converted to Islam). Caution is advised. Stay over target Clinton.

Nah, it’s well-played. People are sick of this fifth-column attitude. You may not agree and you are entitled to that, for sure.
