"What an unconscionable decision conservatives are forced to make.

I will work to get Trump elected, but I will mourn when he is."

While I respect your frustration, the time for looking backward is long past if we want to attempt to save this country. I am far more optimistic about Trump than you are, and reserve my anger for the "conservatives" who refuse to support him, and even in some cases claim to be supporting Hillary. Well, in reality they're all supporting Hillary, one way or another, and it's insane. I can't explain these so-called "intellectuals" who turn their noses up at Trump, yet can't just grasp basic logic. There are only two real choices here. I don't care about personality quirks - leave that to People Magazine and the rest of the tabloids. Our country is dying - look at the POLICIES they will implement. While I know Trump sometimes fumbles his explanations, go to his website and look at the policy proposals there. They have been there since the primaries, and contrary to media myth they are VERY specific. I challenge any true conservative to read them and tell me how they prescribe anything other than a staunchly conservative agenda.

We've got to stop navel-gazing and FOCUS on winning. Then we can work with what we have. If Hillary wins, there will be no hope at all.

Trump is ALREADY softening on illegal immigration, his core promise. My guess - no, MY BET - is that he’ll soften a LOT more.
