I don’t think it will be any surprise that he is going to support the same touch back amnesty plan that Pence put forward 6 or 8 years ago. The idea was roundly criticized here on FR by the same people who are now going to be saying that it is genius.
There were some people here on FR pointing out for the last several months that Trump’s plan from the beginning was touch back amnesty.
All that glitters isn’t gold.
Deportees are prohibited for 10 years from applying for a green card. If they go home and apply now, they will get to the front of the line faster than those who wait.
No new laws to benefit those breaking them.
