James Comey's rationale for not referring Hillary Clinton's email crimes to the Justice Department rested almost entirely on a single, quite thin, legal and ethical plank, which was that she did not act intentionally when she sent and received classified emails over her home-brew server. Though his argument for deferring prosecution was mostly specious, it did contain at least a shred of credibility in that as Comey described the situation to the American public and Congress, Hillary had no motive to intentionally put American national security at risk. However, the recent evidentiary revelation (many would say confirmation) that Hillary established the server with the deliberate intent of shielding her illicit influence-peddling for her family "Foundation" while secretary of state shows that the issue of her motivation could not be seen by any "reasonable" prosecutor as exculpatory. Comey's refusal to recommend prosecution, while knowing these facts at the time, proves he was not reasonable, and also that he is incompetent and culpable for not doing so.

I just saw a show on TV about a serial murder/rapist in Louisiana. For a long time they kept looking for a White guy as the FBI had assured them that it was.
Finally a woman survived and it was a Black guy who was caught and convicted. Reminds me of the Beltway Sniper. The FBI profiled the killer as White guys.
I think the FBI is either corrupt or incompetent.
With the disclosures of the extreme measures taken to make hillary’s emails disappear, it’s soooo Banana Republic to say she didn’t have the intent to remove sensitive emails.

If he won’t resign, a committee of citizens should frogmarch him out of FBI headquarters and to the nearest stout oak tree so he can be fitted with a stylish hemp necktie.
Horsehockey. HRC's motives are irrelevant WRT national security. The simple fact that classified material was on a server established and operated by her is enough to violate USC 18 as well as the National Security Act. Intent only comes into play when divining between 1st and 2nd degree homicide.

If comey is a “straight shooter” as far as the FBI is concerned, I hate to think what a “rogue” agent is capable of.
YEP, I concur.
First, no intent is required when mishandling classified information, especially at the level of classification that Hillary mishandled. Second, if you buy that tripe, then Hillary should be held to an even higher standard because she set up a personal e-mail system and in doing so, had even more responsibility to make sure that classified information was not on the system. Comey has proven himself to be a dishonest director who gave in to political expediency and pressure. He is the perfect FBI director for this corrupt Administration and follows along in the path of his boss, Lynch.
How can one NOT intentionally set up an illegal private server to bypass the required protocols. Did it just magically show up all by itself?
We are in Alice in Wonderland territory these days.
