I attended the last Tail Hook Conference, and took my own poll. I asked dozens of Naval Aviators, “ If ordered would you Attack/engage The Israeli Air force”
Answers were varied,funny,serious, and some were vage, but the essence of all was “NO”.
One Squadron Commander, said,”Today's fighters and attack aircraft are very complicated machines, they suffer weird failures that show themselves in the air but some how clear up after landing, strange”
