Why are the French triggered by headscarves and Burkinis? Of all things to get mad about. I didn’t see this outrage over Bataclan or the ice cream truck or Hebdo.

I don’t like this headscarf wearing or anything like that, but they are unable and/or unwilling to deal with the MEN who are killing people, so they harass women to seem like they are ‘taking a stand’.
It’s just quite counterproductive and offensive.
I really don’t care if you want to wear a burkha, as long as you are not trying to blow me up or chop my head off.
